Watch Band StandardsSkagen offers several types of watch bands to accommodate most customer preferences, which includes leather straps, mesh bands, and metal bands/links. The watch band is a very important feature of a watch it not only reflects the design of the watch, it most importantly reflects the commitment to quality of the watch company. Of all the features a watch can offer, none of them will matter if your watch does not fit properly, is uncomfortable to wear, or words of all falls off and is lost.
As always, Skagen is educated on this topic and adheres to the highest of standards in regards to the tolerances of our band fits and attachments. Below is an illustration which explains the measurement used for our minimum length specifications; you will note the measurements are taken from the inner diameter of a buckled watch, and the specifications vary by strap-type.
